NEW NORBROOK WEBSITE MAKES JOB HUNTING EASIER

Applying for a job with Norbrook Laboratories Ltd has just been made simpler thanks to a new online recruitment system.
The company has just relaunched a new look website, www.norbrook.com, to include an easy-to-use online application process which will benefit both potential applicants and the company itself.
“The beauty of the online recruitment system is that it makes life easier for everyone involved in the process,” explains Mrs Louise Kirk, Head of Personnel, Norbrook Laboratories Ltd. “Applicants have more time to complete the application form because they can begin online as soon as they become aware of the advertised position. They can begin to complete the form, save it and return to it or amend it until they are happy to submit it, at which point they receive a confirmation email and a pdf copy of their application form. However the system also allows for the form to be downloaded and posted to applicants who are unable to use the online system.”
Norbrook is currently engaged in a period of expansion and growth which has resulted in an extensive ongoing recruitment campaign. Almost 200 staff have been recruited since the beginning of 2011 and with a new 75,000sq ft manufacturing facility due to open later in the year, further recruitment is planned.
“We are currently receiving in excess of 3,000 job applications a year so we have a real need for a time and cost efficient recruitment system which enables us to have access to the best possible candidates and the ability to tailor the application form to the job in question,” adds Mrs Kirk.
“As a global operator within the pharmaceuticals industry, we will recruit from around the world in order to get the highest calibre of staff for our organisation.
“Our new online system allows us to engage with multi-national candidates much more easily and quickly. In addition, because we can now include criteria based questions on the application forms, we have moved away from the generic, one-fits-all application form to a more focussed and specific form which makes the process easier for the applicant who can highlight their specific attributes and capabilities relevant to the job”
