Alstoe Animal Health announces the introduction of Kesium Tablets for dogs and cats. Kesium Chewable Tablets are tailor- made for dogs and cats containing amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid designed for veterinary use.
Until now there has been no easy solution for practices trying to accurately prescribe tablets containing potentiated amoxicillin for dogs and cats weighing 4-5kg.
With the introduction of Alstoe’s  ‘Kesium Chewable Tablets’ which are available as 50mg, 62.5mg, 250mg, and 500mg sizes, the prescribing gap has now been filled.
In acceptance tests Kesium Chewable Tablets scored higher levels of spontaneous and facilitated intake in dogs than competitors. Good acceptance can aid patient and client compliance. The accurate two-way breaking system of Kesium also helps with dose flexibility.
