Veterinary Ireland (VI) and the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) held a one-day conference on vetting at sales at the Turf Club on the Curragh on July 26, 2012. The conference was very well attended will the full quota of 90 places.
Third case of CEM confirmed in the UK
The UK Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has confirmed that a third animal had tested positive for Taylorella equigenitalis, the causative agent of Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM) during the current UK outbreak.
